Meet Alexa Cohen

Alexa is a Senior at the University of New Hampshire studying psychology. However, she once was a terrified freshman crying while hugging her parents goodbye on drop-off day. She would have never guessed how far she had come in just a few years. From struggling to get to class, failing exams, and falling behind to graduating a year early, taking advantage of campus opportunities and starting her own business. Alexa is a true testament that anything is possible.

With Alexa’s passion for helping others, she holds Internships through her campus’s Health and Wellness department regarding mental health. She is a walk ambassador for National Eating Disorder Association and plans to have her second walk this spring. She wants to continue her passion and help others through what she did at the start of her college experience. While Alexa is not a professional (yet), she has much-lived expertise and wants to help you stay on your feet. College can be scary and intimidating, and it can also be a place of self-growth. Alexa wants to get you there.

Throughout her college years, Alexa only received the support she needed after she gathered up the courage to ask for help, a challenge that is not easy for many. A consistent support system would have made a difference for her. This is where Alexa's passion forms; she wants to help students in the same position she once was. She understands the plethora of challenges students face and wants to be a guiding force, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.
